Hood Groove Management Eurohoops at Nea Ionia – DudeK
Hood Groove Management continues to make history in street culture and urban events, with our one and only artist, DudeK, impressing once again with his Freestyle Basketball Show. DudeK, known for his innovative techniques and creativity, brought a unique energy to the third "station" of the DEH 3×3 POWER TO THE HOOD by Eurohoops event, held in November in Nea Ionia.
Kostas Varnalis Street was transformed into a lively action-packed space, with two 3×3 courts, an inflatable court, free play basketball courts, and Basketball Arcade Games. More than 2,000 basketball fans had the opportunity to participate and enjoy the side activities, while DudeK's Street Basketball Show kicked off the event.
With the support of Hood Groove Management, DudeK proved once again that Freestyle Basketball is more than just a spectacle: it is art, expression and a source of inspiration for new generations. His show highlighted the importance of passion, creativity and constant evolution, providing a unique spectacle that delighted young and old alike.
The event was held under the auspices of the Municipality of Nea Ionia and hosted, among others, activities such as the Open Challenge, the 3×3 game of the Municipal Council, as well as the participation of prominent basketball personalities, such as the former international Kostas Tsartsaris and Katerina Sotiriou.
The DEH 3×3 POWER TO THE HOOD by Eurohoops is an innovative program that promotes 3x3 basketball in the neighborhoods of Athens and Thessaloniki, contributing to the spread of a dynamic sport that started in the streets and became an Olympic sport. After Nea Ionia, the event continues its journey, with the next stop being Kalamaria on 23 November.
