New Year’s Eve at Gorlomi with Dimitris Vassilakis!
Dimitris Vassilakis is an internationally renowned jazz musician, award-winning saxophonist, singer, composer and educator and has recorded 5 albums for the historic New York and London-based jazz label Candid Records. He is the first Greek jazz musician and academic with an international career and and one of the first members of the International Association of Jazz Schools (IASJ). He has also travelled the world to participate in festivals and he started a new movement in the US for young artists called Art Escape. He has been dubbed the "Hellenic God of post modern expression" by the BBC, has collaborated with the greatest jazz legends and he had achieved two sold out shows in a 1,500 capacity venue on Monday nights at the Linkoln Centre in New York City.
Hood Groove Management has the honour of collaborate with the great musician. On December 31st a highly impressive show was held at the Gorlomi bar – restaurant.
